Laboratory Wolves
Only common and uncommon wolves are allowed to be created. Other species must be bought in the store.
Common Species
Daytime
Nighttime
Name: Re’altra
Advantages: Excellent night-vision, graceful, Omnivorous
Disadvantages: Bioluminescence, Blind during the day, Difficulties hunting
Eye colors: Any bright and vibrant colour.
Coat colors: Deep blues and purples, rarely light purple
Mandatory traits: Bioluminescent markings in the pattern of a galaxy covering all of one section of their body. Other bioluminescent patterns, all in the same colour range as their eyes.
Optional traits: Mirroring markings, silver or gold jewelry, stripes
Description: Bioluminescence is their main trait, the glowing markings giving them away quite easily. These wolves were an experiment in splicing the deep sea creatures ability to glow with the natural grace and savage beauty of the wolves. The result was the Re’altra. These creatures, like those from which they gained the bioluminescence, cannot stand the bright light of day and only show themselves at night seeing as they are virtually blind.
As the experimentation continued, a particularly “artistic” scientist gained the bright idea to add in the patterns of galaxies in the lambent markings. Named after the Irish word for “galaxy”, these wolves are quite obviously nocturnal. Their markings, while beautiful, are more often than not a hindrance for them. They give away their location quite easily and only disappear in the bright light of the day. They tend to flock to each other and form family groups, since who else could understand the pain of being bioluminescent. Because of the difficulties that came with their bioluminescing marks, the scientists endowed them with the ability to be omnivorous. If there was ever a mercy given to the experiments, this was it.
Lifespan: 15+
Status: Common
Height range: 3’-3.5’
Weight range: 130-175 lbs
Litter size: 1-2
Name: Tataka
Advantages: Very hard skull, fast on their feet, able to withstand blunt force to the skull
Disadvantages: May have slight eye sight problems if hit in the head too many times, not able to sleep at night time very well
Eye colors: Gold, Red, Silver, Green, Yellow
Coat colors: White, Red, Gold, Black, Any Shade of Grey or Brown
Mandatory traits: Horns of some sort, large front claws
Optional traits: Large hind claws, extra sharp teeth, necklace
Description: The Tataka are very bulky creatures, typically with very broad shoulders. They can range in height from an average wolf to quite a bit larger. They are not fragile, and never look so. Their bodies were built to withstand trauma, especially the head region. Sitting atop their skull could be a number of different horns, be it ram or moose. These giants were bred for fighting, it is simply in their genes.
Unfortunately, these poor creatures are not the sharpest tools in the shed. They are strong in stature, but their mind is a bit worse for wear. Tataka do not typically have positions of power, leadership, or diplomacy. Their skills are fighting, killing, and being hurt. Most can be found in such positions as hunter, border patrol, soldier. Of coarse just because they aren't brilliant doesn't mean they are completely dumb. They know all basic skills that wolves are born with. And they are very much pack wolves, preferring the company of many others around them.
Tataka tend to fight rather viciously, and use their horns for the purpose they were created. Breaking the bones, tearing flesh. The males of this species are quite competitive, and will often times fight in the same mannerism as their horned 'cousins'. Whether it be over a female or over dinner, they will hash it out in the best way they know how.
Lifespan: 15-30 years
Status: common
Height range: 4-5'5"
Weight range: 120-200lbs
Litter size: 2-4

Uncommon Species
Name: Irilyth
Advantages: Built to fight, able to see 100% better in the dark.
Disadvantages: Not very graceful, prone to passing out
Eye colors: Red, Ice Blue, Black, Neon Green, Bright Yellow
Coat colors: Shades of Red, Teal, Black, Neon Blue, & Crimson.
Mandatory traits: Spikes on the top of the head as well as the back of the front legs, a half mask on one side of the face, intriket markings, large claws, swirled pupils
Optional traits: Feathers behind the ear, peirced nose, bushy tail, long fur
Description: These monsters were bred to look as scary as they are. With horns upon their heads and legs, they are one of the most dangerous creatures released from the lab. When the Irilyth is angered their horns, stripes, and eyes glow. They have large claws which are great for tearing and combat. Many of the Irilyth wear masks to show that they are very proud of who they are. If they wear a mask, it matches the markings that are on the body. The mask also has horns along the side which gives them a more deadly look.
Irilyth are typically very calm animals, though if they are provoked they become extremly dangerous. Nothing is normally able to stop these creatures from destruction. The females of this species are a lot more calm then the males, able to hold their temper if needed. When the female gives birth to her liter she will stay in the den and never leave till the pups are able to walk perfectly. The Irilyth strive to be the best fighters that they can be, going through vigorous training at a young age. They must learn the ways of being a fighter. When a male picks a female to be his mate, he is also able to take another female to be the care taker of his pups if he so chooses. The female however will stay with the male until he either kills her or replaces her.
Lifespan: 20-24 years
Status: Uncommon
Height range: 6' - 7'
Weight range: 150-300lbs
Litter size: 1-3

Name: Surios
Advantages: VERY active during the day, in tune with the elements, high stamina, defensive toxins that run through their blood to defend against illness.
Disadvantages: Must bask in the sun to keep energy up, fur colors make them easy to spot, Blood has a very sweet taste almost like honey.
Eye colors: Any eye color
Coat colors: Any shades of bright colors
Mandatory traits: Glowing eyes, one marking MUST be bright, exceptional senses.
Optional traits: skittish, kind-hearted, bi colored eyes, short fur, very dependent on touch, able to climb trees
Description: The Surios were a more or less an experimental breed the scientists came up with when they needed to pass time. They were used mainly to test how different color palettes worked and how one creature could in tune themselves with something outside their bodies (aka nature). However, instead of coming up with well blended, neutral tones, 9 out of 10 of the creations were brightly colored, asymmetrical, or wildly both. There coats were bright compared to the natural world, leading to one of their disadvantages for blending in when they escaped. The DNA they infused to said expressive pelts also had a very interesting effect on their blood type. The life force within them was very attractive to animals that needed blood to survive, like bugs, vampire bats, and even their own visertin beasts.
With the experiments a general flop for what they wanted done, the new, brightly shaded species was put under lock and key and stored in files not to be touched. A scientist, however, continued to tamper with it even when it was past experimental due. After his tampering, the Surios underwent slight changes. They became weaker in their cells, relying on the rays of the sun from the windows to keep them fit. Their eyes glowed in the dead of night and their muscles dense, able to send them up at a staggering speed into fake trees in the testing area.
The behavioral notes for the species varied radically, but one thing was certain that the Surious craved the touch of another. Seen as passionate, they hardly liked being without another body to be against. They were dependent on this touch to keep their social score high. Without it, they suffered from loneliness matched to the heart of a breaking widow's. Other personality traits varied, keeping them all unique with not only just their neon pelts. Some were shy, others feisty, others strong and some weak. All variances were discovered, none being the more dominant. The Surios don't necessarily keep to their own, but they don't always prefer to be alone. Nothing major separates them from the normal canis lupus aside from their flamboyant pelts and their other random quirks.
Lifespan: 10-25
Status: Uncommon
Height range: 5"-6"
Weight range: 130-175lbs
Litter size: 2-3

Name: Bikel
Advantages: Amazing hearing and Smell. Can run very long distances without getting tired.
Disadvantages: can only hunt during the night, uses heat to locate prey, sight is very low, most of sight is very blurry
Eye colors: Any eye color
Coat colors: Any shade of red, brown, black, yellow (any natural color of a snake)
Mandatory traits: Large ears, reptile eyes, a line the runs down from the eye to the lower part of the jaw. Long nails. Very Short tail or no tail at all. Two big fangs instead of one
Optional traits: mane that runs down the whole back of the wolf, stripes on the hind legs. Mane and tail are two toned. Long snout. Skinny. Venom.
Description: the Bikel are a very strange species, they were a mishap that happened when they took the genes from a fox, a manned wolf and a snake and tried to come up with something that was a top hunter. They came up with the Bikel but some things didnt work out, they were not able to stabilize the venom in all of the species. They also were not able to control how aggressive the wolf got when it was startled. They became very aggressive and would strike out at came at them. the scientists tried to reconstruct the species but was never able to fully get the species the way that they wanted so they settled with the bikel the way they were.
The bikel sport a long mane that starts at the top of their head and runs down the entire length of their body and ends at the base of their tail, they also have the very long legs that the maned wolf has and seems to have grown out the claws on all four paws. they were never able to fully understand the marking that is under the eye, it seemed to start at the eye and make it's way down the face and end at the bottom of the jaw, almost like a tear would fall down the face. They believe that the marking may contain the venom that many of the bikal have but there are Bikel that don't have venom that have the mark.
Lifespan: 30+
Status: uncommon
Height range: 6-7'
Weight range: 170-210lbs
Litter size: 6
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: Ghoul
Advantages: Powerful hearing and sense of smell, accelerated speed
Disadvantages: Poor eyesight and reaction time, weak immune system (more prone to illness and disease), short lifespan
Eye colors: Yellow, green, blue, and red
Coat colors: Primarily white (sometimes solid white) with reds, black/grey, blues, and purples being common secondary colors.
Mandatory traits: Mohawk type mane that tufts over on their forehead; although mane growth on some Ghouls is enough to drape down their neck like a horse and almost completely over their eyes.
Optional traits: Tall, lanky body structure; coat patterns partial to dalmatian style spots and jagged stripes
Description: When the first ghoul was created, it was assumed to be a failed experiment. Scientists had attempted to combine maned wolf DNA with several variations of normal wolves in order to introduce this first successful hybrid of species that are either unrelated, or living in completely different biomes. The purpose was to create a canine who could live and adapt to any climate and excel wherever they were; the perfect and most reliable companion for the military's most elite.
However, when splicing the DNA and merging it, not everything added up. They wanted the maned wolf genetics because the breed is so hardy--the canine to survive the Pleistocene extinction in South America. Although it isn't of the same family as wolves and a normal hybrid wouldn't be able to be achieved, they believed through their research they had found away around it.
In fact, they had, but the product was not what they expected. The creature they made was feeble, contracting a wide range of illnesses and diseases... yet surprisingly strong in the way that despite how ill they became, the new breed refused to die off. They could take eminence damage and continue to live on, yet because of their low immunity, the first ghouls were weak and their poor health was dangerous to their handlers. They would never be battle ready.
Lifespan: 10 - 25 years
Status: Uncommon
Height range: 5' - 7'
Weight range: 130 - 200lbs
Litter size: There is a low birth rate in ghouls and a high risk of stillborn pups. However, because of their fierce determination to survive even inside the womb, the pups will devour each other in a desperate act to receive more nourishment from their mothers, increasing their own chance at survival. There are rarely, but never more than, 2 pups born at a time.

Rare Species
Name: Visertin
Advantages: Extremely fast, Beautiful, Keen sense of smell, exceptional eye sight but only during night time
Disadvantages: Very lethal when it comes to battle and if bitten by a true Visertin you will become one(maybe), can only be out in day light for a short period of time before they start to deform.
Eye colors: White, Yellow, Lime Green, Crimson
Coat colors: Tan, Red, Black, Crimson, Gold(markings), White
Mandatory traits: Wears a pendant of some sort that glows brightly and also sports a pair of silver studded earrings in either their left or right ear.
Optional traits: Bracelets on the left leg, Bands of some sort on the tail, Multiple tails, horns
Description: There is one ability that the Visertin race are able to use. There is nothing TRULY special, except for their special characteristics. They are extremely fast, nothing can match their speed except for themselves. The Visertin are usually extremely beautiful, though have a hard time finding one another attractive. Most of the time however, when two are bonded it is for eternity, and they prefer it to be that way. Once a Visertin has bonded, it's like that for a very long time, and they are very protective over their mates. For the visertin to take a mate they must share their blood with another and link their souls by doing so, though this may take years for them to find a mate. Their natural beauty, grace, and speed attract potential prey.
Though, the Visertin have a keener sense of smell than most, their eyesight is only exceptional during the night. The Visertin are allowed to roam about in daylight for a limited amount of time before they start to deform. When a Visertin deforms, it is no longer in control of it's body, and will feed rabidly like a newborn Visertin.
In combat, these creatures become lethal. They become rabid and may need a moment or so to take control over their body. It's the risk each one takes. Within the fangs, is a poison that sets fire to another wolf's body and deforms them inside out. This process could take hours. When a wolf becomes a Visertin, the heart stops working, and the body is very cold. Uncomfortably cold. They have a hard time recalling emotions back, yet sometimes at special moments they may succeed in bearing a large amount of emotion.
Lifespan: 20-40 years
Status: Rare
Height range: 5' - 6'
Weight range: 110-200lbs
Litter size: 1-4
Name: Geolygra
Advantages: "Bat" wings for flight. Excellent night vision. Built tough, can withstand a lot of force. Turns to "stone" while sleeping. Fair intelligence.
Disadvantages: Vulnerable while in "stone-sleep," can be smashed. Can't stand in bright areas/sunlight exposure unless in "stone-sleep." Needs to eat more than the average wolf. Can't swim deeper than their chin. Can be outsmarted if outnumbered.
Eye colors: Red, orange, yellow, brown, green. They glow in the evening hours.
Coat colors: Any shade of gray, going from off-white to black or faded browns and dirty creams for their base coat. Can have darker or lighter markings based off their base coat. Can have any unusual color as a MARKING, but it must be faded, not neon. Typically has "face mask" markings or large back markings as well as "socks."
Mandatory traits: Bat (or "demon" if you'd so prefer) wings (Cannot be feathered). Large back claws. Bangles around front or back legs. A face or back marking of some sort. Longer, thinner tail. Cannot avoid stone-sleep.
Optional traits: Necklaces, multiple bangles, a lower body temperature to be cool to the touch like stone. Can have spikes on head, elbows or ankles.
Description: The old legends of gargoyles spreads for years as either demons, gatekeepers, or guardians. With this in mind, the scientists decided that this was a type of beast they wanted to create. The Geolygra were made primarily for defense and to take a good beating like for dog fights. Their skin is slightly tougher than that of the average canine and even when wounded, they have a lesser loss of blood even in a vital area. In a pack, these beasts are best used as warriors. They mostly wish to serve and don't vie for control. With that in mind, it isn't very common to find one of them in a position of high leadership.
There are several things that are unique about these creatures that set them apart from normal wolves. For starters, they bear thick, leathery wings that match their base coat on their shoulders that can easily hold their weight and that of another. Another feature is their mass. Though not usually tall, they hold very strong muscles - not bulging masses, mind you - and appear intimidating to most any creature. Because of their size, they need to have food more than normal wolves. Whereas natural ones can feed for a week or two and be fine, the Geolygra need to eat at least every three days, otherwise they get sluggish and greatly fatigued which will eventually lead them to collapsing into a stone-sleep that they have a 50/50 chance of waking from, but only from help of another.
The stone-sleep is both their greatest advantage and curse. When wishing to sleep (or pushed to exhaustion) the Geolygra will enter a phase called stone-sleep. This phase can catch them in any position, be it sitting, laying down, or even-mid stride. Their hide hardens and their fur clumps together as everything in their body begins to slow and eventually come to a rest. Their entire physic will take on a grayed out color of their pelt and they will solidify, almost literally turning to stone. They will be cold to the touch, their fur hard as rock and eyes glazed like marbles. They cannot see, but they always dream. Only when the body feels it has gathered an adequate amount of sleep (or if they have great mental control of themselves) can they wake. The stone will crack off and they will usually have to fiercely shake off it knock the stone-sleep off completely. If ill, stone-sleep will also lessen the longevity of the ailment by nearly half.
When in stone-sleep, being bathed in sunlight is the best way to regain their energy the quickest despite their inability to remain in it normally. An important note is they are not impenetrable when they are asleep. If smacked into something hard, they will chip and awake in agony, taking more damage than they would have had they been awake and being immobilized for a time. They can also be shattered in stone-sleep, leading to ultimate death.
In the lack of light, their eyes glow in the shade. Some believe it's to light their path and think this is why they can see in the dark as others can in the light. That's not the case, though. The Geolygra work best in groups and do not like being alone. The group doesn't have to consist of other Geolygra, though it is with others of their kind that they feel the most comfortable. Another note is that these creatures cannot swim. Shoving them in water is a great way to kill 'em.
The Geolygra are very family oriented. Once they find a mate, it is for life unless the partner dies, and even after this death they are reluctant to move on. When they find a group they like, it will be hard to separate them from said host. They feed off of closeness and numbers and feel the most at ease in these places. They can have any sort of personality, but it will always link back to their desire to be around others and never be alone.

Name: Ozihcs
Advantages: Above average intellect; Extremely good with herbs and treatments; Very graceful.
Disadvantages: Completely blind; Suffer from psychosis; Poor fighters.
Eye colors: Cloud Grey; Murky Blue; Sewed up.
Coat colors: Brown, Black, White(markings only), Dark green; Dark purple (markings only).
Mandatory traits: Skull covering the face; Necklace of bones and herbs; Multi-colored feathers behind each ear; Multiple piercings in the ears.
Optional traits: Small skulls tied to the tail; tail of feathers(must match the ones in ear); Bones through the nose.
Description: when the humans started seeing how well their creations were coming along, they also realized they needed to keep them as healthy and fit as they possibly could. Seeing as they were not wolf however, they never could really understand what their "pets" needed...so the Ozihcs were created. They needed a wolf to only be the caretaker of their prized creations, and what better way than to create their own personal witch doctor?
The trials in making these wolves was very hard though. They needed to have the intellect and memory to hold all remedies and treatments in their minds but also be steady pawed and easily mobile. In their adventure in making the "perfect" witch doctor, they made the wolves as close to the ones in Africa as they could. It not only made them bizarre in appearance but easy to pick out. The humans didn't want these wolves to be fighters or to see the world before them. They thought that if they could, then they would try to be something else...or worse, with their high brainpower, take over. So they rid these precious wolves of sight.
The wolves tend to be very level headed, calm and peaceful wolves. They stick close to the few numbers they have and are more than generous to those in need; they are just so compelled to help. However...due to their lack of sight and caring hearts, they sort of feel the pain of each victim and it has taken a toll on their minds. The troubles are so bad, that now even pups (shortly after birth) exhibit signs of psychosis. Hence why they rarely live past a few weeks. The skulls they wear around their necks are said to carry the souls of any pups they have lost and it is even said that those spirits, angry for being kept, haunt them frequently. It is wise to be weary of these gentle wolves...one wrong move and you see how easily they can harm.
Lifespan: 20-45 years.
Status: Rare.
Height range: 2-4 feet.
Weight range: 65-80 pounds.
Litter size: 1-2(but it's common for one, or both, to die at birth).

Ultra Rare Species
Name: Dirus
Advantages: Giant fangs, very strong, psychotic
Disadvantages: Low stamina, easily seen
Eye colors: Violet, Blues, Greens, Orange, Yellow, Red
Coat colors: Silver or Gold solid pelts.
Mandatory traits: Solid coat, giant fangs, large paws,
Optional traits: Small intriket markings on hips or face, bone necklace,
Description: Dirus were created in the image of the Dire wolves. They are much larger then any breed in the entire city, much like their ancestors. The breed were not built for long distances, their stamina is quite low. But they are stronger then any wolf or canine alive. These monsters have teeth that are at least four inches in length. Gigantic fangs that stick out on the sides of the maw, much like a saber's in ancient times. The fur of the Dirus is the most rare of the lab species. They come in two colors, silver or gold. Sometimes they have markings, but they are very detailed and intriket. The markings are only ever seen on the hip area or face.
They have a very low stamina, unable to run for long distances. Because of their size, the Dirus are easily seen and unable to hide very well. This makes hunting harder for them unless the prey is slow or injured. These beasts are extremely aggressive and will fight with any creature they come into contact with. They have been known to slaughter families of creatures for the pure joy of killing. The mental stability of the Dirus has always been in question. Others believe that these wolves are psychotic and have serious illness. Perhaps that is true, perhaps they are crazy and sick. Would you care to ask one?
Lifespan: 20+ years
Status: Ultra Rare
Height range: 7'-8.5'
Weight range: 175-215lbs
Litter size: 2-3 pups
